The UCAS Extra deadline is fast approaching, with all applications needing to be submitting by July 2nd. UCAS Extra is for prospective a student who have used all five choices in their initial round of applications and gives candidates the chance to apply for places on courses that still have vacancies.
If you are using the UCAS Extra service, it might be a good idea to start thinking about related or alternative subjects to study. You can also search for courses with Extra availability on the UCAS website or by browsing for subjects you’re interested in.
If you are applying to courses via Extra, remember, you can only apply to one course at a time, meaning you’ll not be able to have an insurance choice.
You can also use Extra if you didn’t use all your five choices – you can add more if it’s before 30th June and you’ve not accepted or declined your offers, or as long as you originally only applied to one choice and you pay the extra £11 in Track to add more.
