Top end Edinburgh student accommodation well suited to UK’s best city

26th May 2016

Edinburgh has been named the top UK city to live in for the third year running by the annual Telegraph poll. The vote takes into account the views of 75,000 people, with Edinburgh beating all other UK cities when it comes to being the best place to live.

Not only is it a wonderful city to reside in, but Edinburgh is also a great place to study. The city is home to four excellent universities: University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Napier University, Heriot Watt University and Queen Margaret University. As such it has a buzzing student scene that is great for those who want to make the most of their uni years.

And of course such a fantastic city to live and study in deserves a range of top student accommodation options, which is precisely what we’ve sought to provide with our fabulous properties there!

Gateway Apartments are just a five minute walk from the city centre – the perfect location for making the most of the myriad attractions that this stunning city has to offer. As well as beautiful apartments with their own en-suite bathrooms, you can enjoy an in-house cinema, gym, common room and reading rooms. What more could you need?

We’ve also got a fabulous building on McDonald Road, which is perfect for students looking for an active social life close to the city centre. The building is exclusively for 135 residents, split into three, four and five bedroom cluster flats, along with a spacious common room. If you want stylish accommodation at a great price, McDonald Road is the place for you.

Our newest Edinburgh student accommodation is Buccleuch Street. Like Gateway Apartments it has a private gym and cinema room and it’s just a stone’s throw from Edinburgh University, so is perfect for those studying at that venerable institution.
