Get into pole position for the F1 final

26th November 2015

Excitement is building as the end of another Formula 1 season approaches, with this year’s final scheduled for 29 November. If you don’t fancy spending seven hours on an aeroplane to get to Abu Dhabi to watch the final in person then it’s time to think about finding the best viewing spot for the race.

This year’s championship winner will be Lewis Hamilton, who clinched victory in the 16th race of the season, with an outstanding performance in the US. But can his Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg keep hold of his second place? Or will former champion Sebastian Vettel take the number two spot and bump Rosberg down to third? It’s all to play for…

Formula 1 is definitely best watched in a crowd, so gather your fellow residents together this 29 November to take advantage of the fabulous facilities in your Collegiate property to really watch the final in style. From cosy common rooms to communal club lounges, Collegiate residents have the perfect venue from which to enjoy the final F1 race of the season.

Collegiate’s cinema rooms also provide the ideal viewing space, with every manoeuvre available to admire in all its glory on the big screen.

Be sure to make a day of it and get your drinks and snacks ready for the race, so that you don’t miss a moment of the action on the big day. For added fun, why not show your support for your favourite driver or country with flags, hats and other items of clothing, to fuel the excitement of the competition?

Remember to make time to watch the practice and qualifying sessions as well on 27 and 28 November, to fully enjoy the build up of anticipation as the waving of the final chequered flag of the year gets closer and closer.
