Are you in line for the best student experience at uni?

3rd May 2016

A newly published league table from the good folk at Times Higher Education (THE) has revealed the top UK universities for ‘student experience.’ About 15,000 undergraduates contributed their views, on topics like the quality and helpfulness of the staff and lectures, how well structured the courses are, the social scene, the quality of facilities and the community vibe.

Loughborough University took the top spot, up from second place last year, and we were delighted to see that both the University of Leeds and Newcastle University made it into the top ten, Leeds in sixth place and Newcastle in joint seventh.

At Collegiate our bespoke student properties are designed to enhance the student experience significantly. Our student accommodation in Leeds includes everything from super duplex apartments to features like on-site cinemas and private gyms. Our Newcastle student accommodation also aims to please, with design-led properties offering exquisite apartments within 10-15 minutes of both Newcastle University and Northumbria University.

Of course, just because your uni hasn’t made the list doesn’t mean you can’t still have a top time while there. Choosing one of our outstanding Collegiate properties to live in will certainly add to your experience of the student lifestyle. Cardiff might have just missed out on inclusion in the THE top ten (Cardiff University came joint 12th), but with properties like Windsor House, with its stunning apartments, cinema, games room and VIP bar, and Summit House, with its private on-site gym, common and reading rooms, in-house cinema and on-site laundry, all just a short walk from Cardiff Uni, you can certainly make the most of your years at uni!

We are regularly adding new properties to the Collegiate collection, so even if you are already enjoying one of our amazing apartments, do keep an eye on the website to see what else we’ve added to the offering in your city!
