Student life in Glasgow
As Scotland’s largest city and somewhat of a modern metropolis, Glasgow has quite the reputation to uphold. But take it from us, it truly is one of the warmest, friendliest and most fun cities in which to spend your student years. The city is home to three well-respected universities and as a result attracts international students from all corners of the globe. There are roughly 53,000 full time students in Glasgow during term time, making it the fifth largest university city outside of London in the UK.
Glasgow is a lively city with a whole host of excellent activities to cater for all tastes. If live entertainment is your thing, you’re in luck with a large number of live music venues as well as being the home of The Scottish Opera, The Royal Scottisah National Orchestra and The Scottish Ballet. Our accommodation is ideally positioned for easy access to the bright lights of the city as well as the student culture centre, the West End.
