Monday: Gravity
Popular Bristol nightclub Gravity has made BED Mondays a student night staple in the city. Monday nights bring all sorts of weird and wonderful themes (free Greggs or McDonalds, anyone?) but the club is exciting and unique in itself. With a ball pit and fried chicken served into the early hours, loads of drink offers, you’ll be dancing the night away to some of the best trap and R&B or disco and club classics.

Tuesday: Lola Lo
Resident DJs take over the dancefloor at Lola Lo every Tuesday for the Clique club night playing the very best in R&B, hip hop, house and commercial dance. At Bristol’s premium tiki bar you can be sure of a huge range of discounted drinks all evening, as well as special deals for university sports teams and socials. Keep an eye on their events page for early bird tickets that include a free shot on arrival to really get the party started!

Wednesday: OMG
OMG is Bristol’s largest LGBT+ venue, and Wednesdays are not to be missed. It’s Poundemonium, which means you can enjoy a host of drinks for just £1 and free entry so it’s the ultimate student night if you’re on a budget but still want to shake off the middle of the week. Enjoy drag hosts, weekly prize giveaways, a classy cocktail menu and a packed dance floor playing the very best 90s chart, cheesy hits, dance, indie and pop until 4am.

Thursday: Mbargo
Thursday nights at Mbargo is one of the best student nights in Bristol with happy hour prices until 11pm and free entry from 8pm. Take your pick of budget-friendly shots and drink deals, as well as special deals for Bristol and West England student sports teams and societies. Dance to big tunes and chart toppers from top DJs in a cosy nightclub that always brings a great party atmosphere.

Friday: Lizard Lounge
Impulse Fridays at Lizard Lounge is student night you’re sure to become familiar with while you’re in Bristol. The atmosphere is what brings students back and filling the dancefloors. Shake it off to popular chart, dance and indie tunes that will keep you on your feet until you’re kicked out at 4am. The popular club on Queen’s Road is actually open five nights a week so you can take your pick of great club nights, but we think Friday is where it’s at for Bristol’s students.

Saturday: Thekla
Thekla is a cargo ship moored in Bristol’s FLoating Harbour, and it’s home to one of the city’s best music venues. This water-bound club hosts Pop Confessionals, bringing you the best in classic guilty pleasures, power ballads and cheesy hits – from Hall & Oates and Heart, to Craig David and 5ive, with a healthy hit of Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber thrown in, there’s something for everyone!
