Media Production Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK’s leading luxury student accommodation provider to ensure the smooth running of the creative studio as well as managing resources whilst ensuring the right skillset and experience is used on each project.

Working closely with the Head of Production, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day workflow of production (creative and digital) and ensuring resource potential is maximised. You will create thorough briefs aligned to the brand’s identity and ensure they are clearly understood. You will carefully quality check work before releasing it.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage schedule for digital, print and content projects across small and large scale jobs (all running to different timescales)
  • Use your knowledge to put the right people on the right jobs according to their skillset / abilities and current workload; track and prioritise workload and responsibilities between various teams
  • Familiarity with all the details within projects to help ensure accuracy and consistency across all digital and printed components
  • Communicate with Head of Production and Creative Director on decisions, and enforce process to ensure most efficient ways of working
  • Work with Head of Production to manage expectations with Marketing and Creative team members, negotiate timelines, follow-up and follow-through with clear communications
  • Quality control: check all work for brand continuity and consistency before it is released
  • Build and maintain a preferred supplier database

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in either traffic/studio or project management across digital, content and print within an advertising agency, graphic design firm or a corporate in-house marketing department
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in stressful situations
  • Skilled, organised team player
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise based on project deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills to manage overlapping schedules and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent proof-reading skills
  • A calm, diplomatic approach
  • Ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders whilst under pressure, think fast on your feet and make command decisions
  • Ability to effectively communicate creative ideas and strategic plans to internal teams
  • A thorough understanding of digital and print design and production processes
  • Fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese language skills advantageous but not required
